ধরি, x গ্রাম চিনি যোগ করতে হবে।
( 300 এর 40%) + x = ( 300 + x) এর 50%
300 ×( 400/100) + x = 300 + x × (50/100)
120 + x = 300 + x /2
2x + 240 = 300 + x
2x - x = 300 - 240
x = 60
